The Taunton Civic Chorus is a local community chorus consisting of members from all over Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. A Chorus of this power and magnitude cannot be accurately described in words, but when you explore the site and listen to some of their incredible vocals, you will understand what they are all about. Having been singing in unison since 1959, the group comprises a variety of singers ranging in ability and range from sopranos all the way through mezzos and down to the basses. Our Mission:
The mission of the Taunton Civic Chorus is to create a welcoming environment for those who like to sing and to enrich the community through choral performance. TCC offers two concerts per year - one in the Spring, and a holiday concert in December. Concerts offer a variety of musical selections from light to classical, popular, modern, sacred and secular, all offered for the enjoyment of our audiences. Besides our regularly scheduled concerts, TCC also occasionally performs for various community and public events in the Greater Taunton Area. TCC welcomes everyone that enjoys singing and can attend regular weekly rehearsals on Thursday nights. An audition is not required.
